About Sit AI

Sit AI is an iPhone app for dog and puppy training. The camera watches your dog during short sessions, tells you exactly when to reward, and tracks how your dog is learning over time. Detection runs on the phone.

Why we built it

Most dog owners train alone, with a video or an article that can't see their dog. The same questions come up again and again: When do I give the treat? Am I doing this right? Is my dog actually learning? What should we do next?

A good trainer answers those in the room, in real time. Phones can now see a dog's posture as it happens. So we built the next best thing to a trainer at your side: a coach that watches, tells you what to do, and shows you the progress.

What we believe

• Reward-based only. No punishment, no corrections, no gadgets on your dog.
• Honest about what it does. The camera marks sit today. We add a behavior only when it marks it reliably, and we say so on this site.
• Your video stays yours. Detection runs on your iPhone. Nothing is uploaded unless you turn on the optional cloud check.
• Not a replacement for professionals. For fear, aggression or reactivity, work with a certified trainer or a veterinary behaviorist.

Who's behind it

Sit AI is built by a small team led by founder Sai Masetty. We test with real dogs every week, including shelter dogs, with the shelter's permission.
